i havent seen a thread on this, I usually didnt care since i lived in jersey, id just wait for mounatin creek to open, but now that im in college in mass and vermont and new hapmshire are real close, whats usually the first mountain to open up on the east coast?

no im in mass now im wondering what is gonna open in the vermont/newhampshire area... like something 3-4 hours from boston

yeah killy is pretty much always open on the 1st of nov. and they normally have some shit set up on reason like 3-6 rails or boxes ...last year was a sick opening day

I turned out 2 or so seasons ago because the park was "open". turns out that this means the park trail was open, but all 5 of the rails where blocked off, it was whiteouts all day, terrible snow, barespots, and WIIINNNDDDYYY!!! All for the low price of a 75.00 lift ticket... Yeah it was an epic day...

woooooaH, KILLY opens nOV 1st? JEEEEEZ, ski season is damnnnnnnnnn close. i better get my damn bindings on. thx for reminding me guys

hmm, i ahve the all east pass, so i dont buy tickets, but i think its prolly full up cause its first open, people pay big bucks to ski early. i guess they go really big. i think they bump it down a little bit, but its sure as hell not low, i can tell you that

yea killy does open fist on the east every year except last they were beet by sunday river

and no they dont charge over $70 for a ticket opening day it is usualy around $50

yea last year i dont remember exactly what day killy opened...but i kno i was there on oct 30th! it wasnt too bad, they had a few boxes adn rails, its just that they were soooo crowded. but it will be interesting to see who wins this year....sunday river or killy????

i dont even know if SR is gona open up nov 10th. thats projected and right now its 50 degrees in the night time so idk wat type of snow doesnt melt at 50 degrees
