hello ns,

cleaning out the garage and found some 2005 K2 Fugitives that were autographed by Pep Fujas. This is Pep's first ever pro model ski. Pep gave the skis to me and signed them in 2007 while we were filming IDEA. I figured there is probably a better home for these skis then in the corner of my garage.

*side note: other then telling you guys about skis i got for sale. lets use this thread to share stories about these skis if you had them.... because ALOT of people had these skis. i believe over 10,000 of these were sold which most likely makes them the best selling pro model ski of all time.?!

Damn that's history right there. I remember these and Public Enemies were my dream skis when I was little

Love to see them! I had the 2005 public enemies and always thought the Fujas looked sweet. History right there!

Oh my dear god. 1st bid! Dude. These were my favorite ski from that era. Like. Man. I had mine stolen or id still have them. They are gems!!

What else you have in the garage!?

I got a pair of first generation Skogen Sprang pro models as well. brand new un mounted. will put online later tonight.

In probably 2009 I remember hitting a weird step up in the Newfoundland backcountry on a borrowed pair of these because the bindings broke on my skis.

Fujative*

Thrashed a set of those thru the years. even missed a pair for $20 at a garage sale last summer.

Now, I'm trying to hate , to stir the pot , to talk shit but I can't. The era was freeze, pep, style, funky ski designs, freestyle...

"Hey Mike gutt, did you get my promo video, I spent my last three dollars on postage ! ? "

Pep was my absolute favorite pro growing up. We would sneak into superpark and the other comps in Mammoth (Bishop locals) and just watch the madness.

Those early years of freestyle were awesome, especially being a high school kid in Mammoth. Absolutely best time to be a kid getting into it. By the time Tom dropped his superunknown shit was already too serious (That's not meant to hate, I helped film that superunknown /claim).

My friend was a K2 Rep and got me a pair of K2 Enemies as my first "twin tips" (hardly could call those twin tips).

Chris Benchetler went to my highschool and we had mutual friends. We all thought he was the coolest guy in the world. Took a lap with him on some prototype Public Enemies (all white with the red and blue K2 logo puff sticker just stuck on them, no tip rivets even) and I had never seen anything like it. Looked way cooler than the LINEs, Rossi Scratch, Dynastars that everyone had.

I found a minor blem in the tail of my enemies that I... helped.... along.... and sent back to K2 to score some Public Enemies.

Next year got a pair of First Gen Seth Pistols. My friend had the first year Fujative. My senior year of highschool another hot lap with Chris on a pair of FULLY reverse camber *not rockered Maid'n AK protos and I KNEW that was my future. I sent multiple emails to K2 BEGGGING them to let me buy a pair. Settled on normal Maid'ns then eventually got hellbents the moment they dropped. Still wish I could have tried those protos out.

K2 was the shit in those days. Those skis were all so good both in the park and everywhere else compared to all the other twins at the time (which basically sucked everywhere else).

I still have the Public Enemies and Seth Pistols in my garage. Some day I'll hang them on my wall, because Josh Malay and Ryan Schmies are basically the two primary reasons I became a creative as a career instead of going into research biology.

I was in Pep's house once trying to bang his roommate. It turned out she was a player and brought me on a date with another man so it was a 3-way date. I think she watched too much of the bachelor and she believed that's how dates were supposed to be. Well anyways, Pep wasn't there but he had a lot of posters of himself on the walls which I thought was weird.

In my shop we have a pair of JP vs Juliens signed by both JP Auclair and Julien Regnier.

Also have a pair of ANT's signed by Anthony bornowski, but the JP/Juliens are pretty special.

If this real, you win.

Mike gutt,

Did you get my promo tape?!

Had a pair of those first gen Fujatives I got after warrantying my Public Enemies. After K2 stiffed me as a sponsor of the slope comp I used to run, I carved Fuck K2 into the bases and filled it with PTex. lol. Fujatives were next level for nose presses.

Had the first three versions of them. first twin tips. had this model in 169 and realized they were like ski blades and switched to the white/ wood topsheet (best topsheet) in 179. loved them so much i snapped them and k2 warrantied them with the picasso graphic ones. pretty sure i still have them somehwere.lots of first tricks on those. almost want to mount them back up and take them for a rip again.

Morning NS,

I got another pair of skis i'm selling out of the garage. today is a pair of 2007 K2 Fugative autographed by Pep Fujas.

back story is that this was my favorite pro model pep had... i liked it because it was see through in some areas against the light. Since i collected pro models that my friends skied on, i asked pep for his skis in 2007 while filming IDEA. he took the bindings off, autographed them and gave them to me... they are DOPE!

Since these skis released fall 2006, i believe he skied urban on them in Poor Boyz Productions 2006 movie Ski Porn.

before i put these skis on ebay, instagram and all the other fun places... i figured i better share here first since i know there is a Pep superfan somewhere here and the goal is to give these skis a better home then piled up in my garage. So, if you would like to make a offer on these skis, send me a message. if not, go enjoy peps ski porn segment! the man wicked at skiing!!!!!

peace, eric iberg

I would purchase these but I just ejaculated all over the keyboard so now I can't log into my ebay account for some reason.

Hi Eric Iberg/Inspired Media, I was wondering if you might be able to fix or reupload the Red Tape and Whiteshine Plehouse films that you have put on NS. For some reason my computer and phone won't play them. Thanks. And also do you still have the fujatives and how much are they at so far?

I wish i could... the inspiredmediatv account lost a lot of videos uploaded here. i believe around 2013 NS was creating a new video player and we began to upload all our content to this new video player.... then i think they went back to or stayed with the old video player. so, if someone here at NS can figure out how to put all those old plehouse movies and all our other content back online, that would be awesome.
