1st Annual Welch Sunset Jam

We are in the beginning stages of planning this event so the info. I can give right now is pretty basic. What we know now is this: The event will take place on Saturday, March 15th. There will be an "X-games feel"...giant screen w/live video on the hill w/DJ and music, several notable sponsors, live music before and during practice session, 3 features in a uniqe set-up(ask Tony), and the competition format will start with a preliminary round and finish head-to-head. well welch is in a town called welch. haha but seriously if anyone needs a place to stay so you dont have to wake up ridiculously early to get there or anything my house is like 10 minutes from welch so i guess you could stay with me. this is the first saturday of umd's spring break by the way so everyone should be able to make it.

Just got word from groups sales....our mountain cabins (rustic winter cabins with bunk beds) will be available for $100, they sleep up to 30 people. That weekend is also college weekend so a lot of college aged people will be here hanging out.

You guys should start seeing posters at the local hills within a week. We are adding sponsors and getting details. The screen we plan to have is 25 feet wide and 14 feet tall. It also comes with a high res. projector and 8 speakers that will thump the entire valley. This is going to be fun.
