maybe if all the stuff for 2006 wasnt completely exagerated this could of been a good thread.

but its not.

so true. soooooooooooo fucking true. but half the kids that are going to agree have those parents that are causing the world to be like this

yea definitely a bit exaggerated but still makes you realize what a different place it is today...and you don't even need to go back to the 70's its even crazy just looking at the differences since the 90's...

na they are realistic. I always think of how i wish i lived back then when kids were always out playing, instead of video games there was basketball and football. And instead of plastic there was medal sleds

well yea its exaggerated, but it makes a valid point, schools are crazy sensitive these days. but its like in 1976, no one came to school and massacred innocent students.

Haha, last one got me. Plastic "sleds" (aka tubes) are much safer. However, they cannot be steered. Metal sleds can be (somewhat), but are still dangerous. Tubes are good for powder, metal sleds are best for icy snow.

Scenario: Mark gets a headache and takes some aspirin to school.

1976 - Mark shares aspirin with Principal out on the smoking dock.

2006 - Police called, Mark expelled from school for drug violations.

Car searched for drugs and weapons.

Why would he share the aspirin outside on the smoking dock? What?

Because while he and the principal are outside smoking, the principal says "oh man, I have such a headache" and Mark goes "Oh, here's some aspirin."

Scenario: Johnny takes apart leftover firecrackers from 4th of July,

puts them in a model airplane paint bottle, blows up a red ant bed.

1976 - Ants die.

best one^^^

the ADD one describes me, except i decided i never wanted to take ritalin.. which is good cause i guess i fucked over the school... but the thought of having to take a pill to be "normal" or what people think to be normal is kindo f bullshit.. and this is soo true every bit of it... and i think 1976 was better time due to the fact people were less fucked up

it'd be fucked up if one day all the ants in the world decided to kill us in our sleep. god that would suck

man i wish life was still like that...shit is way to complicated these day's..back then they lived for fun and had fun..now if you have fun you go to jail.its stupid as fuck..

I've deffinitly experienced this. I said opposite sex on my bus and some girl told on her parents I was talking about sex so we had a "talk" and I had to write a letter of apology to the girl, was grounded for 3 months, no season pass (which is free in the first place), had to go to counseling for anger management because I called the girl a bitch now I'm just an angry person in general.

i remember in 7th grade spanish we had to say something in spanish to describe different people. will, my teacher chose britney spears, i said el fako la breasto, i got suspended and the teacher and a girl from the class threatend to file charges against me. i was like fucking 12 at the time. so rediculous

Um.. If you seriously thought a girl could sue you for saying 'el fako la breasto', you're an imbecil. And you said something innapropriate so you got what you deserved.

On a more serious note, you know why people flip out when people bring guns to school?

to bad the news blows everything out of proportion and those are only the extreme cases that you actually hear about
