189 08 Hellbents FS locally

Hey guys I have some used 189 Hellbents for sale I bought off of gear trade last year, I planned to use em but I never re-mounted them up. I paid $265 for them (I have the email to prove it), I'll let em go for $250 if someone is interested.
I don't know what bindings the previous owner had on them, but as best I can tell they were mounted at core center. The bases are in pretty good shape, and the top sheets have some chips on them. Overall I'd say they're at a 7 or 8/10 condition wise.

Figured I'd throw them up here before I hit up Craigslist and I'd rather sell them locally so I don't have to bother with the whole shipping thing.
I'll also consider trades.

but does anyone know how big 189 actually runs? ive heard bents tend to run on the big side. im about 5'8" and im worried these will be kinda massive even at 189
 
yeah, they definitely run big, I'd say they measure more like 194. Sure they ski more like a 189 because of the massive amount of rocker they have, but it may be too much ski for someone your size.
You'd probably be better off with the 179 bent.

 
ride them for one season and you will def get used to them...if your a good skier then your skis should be bigger than you anyway durrrrr..
 
marc is a legit guy, a legit skier and a legit seller. Bents for 250? jump on this kids before the pineapple express clears out grace lakes!
 
wtf I thought these would be snatched up in 5 seconds. I will buy them for 250. When/Where do you want to meet up? I'm available evenings and weekends.
 
I'm less than 5'8 and have been riding 189 Hbeezies since they came out. I've had sets mounted at +3, +5.5, and Center. All of which center is by far the best, and the 189 is very manageable.

My new Hellbents are at least an inch *shorter* (maybe more) than the old ones, side by side, 189 to 189.

If you can't handle a 189, that's fine, don't buy em. I use to tell people that an adult buying a 179 hellbent for anything but park was stupid as hell. Now I just let people be foolish and vagtastic. Either way, get a set, you won't regret it.
