185 JJ vs 189 Hellbent

im being offered some 189 hellbents mounted with jesters for my brand new 185 JJ's. i already have a 179 seth vicious. what do u guys think i should do. go it or leave it?

Youll like either one, both are killer skis. Seems like the hellbents + jesters are probably worth more though, unless they are fucked up, sounds like a good deal to me~
 
189 seems huge, but I might pick up a pair cuz I can get them for mad cheap. I dunno. Its a predicament.
 
one thing to keep in mind is that i bet a 189 hellbent will feel a lot longer than a 185 JJ, very different sidecuts
 
189 hellbents rock. I ski them in 6 inches + days and they kill it. Just dont try to ski them any other days. There so fucking heavy to try and spin on.
 
probably a reason they're offering you bents AND bindings for JJs....

I wouldn't give my JJs up for anything!
 
No, JJ's will definitely ski longer. Stiffer, and longer running length, and camber underfoot. Hellbents are soft, and although they measure out long, their rocker is HUGE.
 
the 189 bents are going to be like big boats that you can still jib in the pow with but will probably be too heavy for park and I would only get them if they were specifically for POW! I have the 169s because I use them everywhere but I am pretty short....
