so im about 6 ft tall which is around 182cm..for a ski next year, should I go with a 182 or more around a 174 - 178? thanks

^^^ that isnt true at all, im 5'5'' also and im gona ski a 167, which in my opinion is perfect for me, im sure alot of people would disagree. its all about personal preference.

generaly id say get something taller than u are or about the same hight. unless u can afford 2 skis then u could do somethin like a 178 and a 185, thats where its at

It's all personnal preference and depends on what type of stuff you ride. Don't listen to the dudes saying longer is better. It is in some cases but not always. Best thing to do is demo the boards you want. Only way to be sure

yeah. i am 6'2 and have 179's for park, and am getting 189's for pow. it depends on what you ski, and personal preference.

 
^I'm 6'2'' 180lbs and ride 179 Pistols everywhere! But I ski 75% woods and 25% everything else so the smaller size helps me get through those tight east coast trees. If I were out west I would def. go with the 189. Or if I were rich I would have both sizes.

yeah, pistols seemed a little short for me in the pow, so i remounted them to center, and now they are my park sticks. i'm saving up for the 189 seth vicious for my bc adventures. i think i am going to mount them at +4...

 
My Pistols are mounted at only +1 so I've still got lots of tip for pow (when we actually get pow), but they still tear up all mtn. I fucking love these skis!

mine were at +1 before my remount! they were good for everything but park. i think mounting at +4 on my vicious will have plenty of tip for pow, and enough tail for langing switch, and the swing weight will be so much better for spinning off bc kickers. the swing weight is amazing going from +1 to +7.5... it feels like there are feathers under my feet.
