181 too short?

I'm 6'4 190lb. Really super tempted to get the Surface Lab 001. Should I go for it? Or get the New Life in 194? It's a 5 inch difference. Center mounted would be only 2.5 inches less in tip and tail. What are your thoughts NS?

depends on what type of skiing you want to do, if you're doing a lot spins then the 180 may be fine.

Surfing, buttering, booters, small cliffs, etc. Similar to Eric Pollards style. I'm just nowhere near as good. But I ski like him kinda

they may be a little short for big landings but if you can figure out how to land nice and centered. I'm about the same size as your and I ski 184 bacons mainly and I don't really have a problem with their length. For fucking around, I always prefer shorter skis.

im the exact same size as your. i ride a 181 jmo, but its pretty stiff. if i was going with something softer i would go longer

Well the lab is a 8/10 stiffness rating, so It's not that soft. I think I'm gonna go for it and see what happens

they are messured in cm by the way so only 2.5 cm difference with is a bit over 1 inch

It's actually a 13 cm difference. So a 6.5 cm difference tip and tail. So about 2.5 inch difference.
