so i was always afraid of doing 180s off like 30 footers, i could do 3s and 5s, but not 180s because i would freak out, then one day, i tried a 3, fucked up, and in the air i was like 'shit, i have to land this'

so i stuck it and i now love 180s so much, they're so much fun

anyone else having fun with 180s?

180's are so sick, deff one of my fav trick, especially unnatty ones, i dunno why anyone wouldnt want to do one off a big jump, its killer

 
I've been having trouble with my 180s lately, I was doing them on one of our bigger jumps here, I was doing 1s and 3s on it before but they made it slightly bigger and now the speed is f-in me up in the air. A couple days ago I started goin all off-axis and almost ate shit, and today I though I'd try to go slower and cased it on the knuckle switch and fucked up my bad ankle.

I love stalling it at 90 and holding the grab, and yes when you knuckle or land flat, at least for me it kills my back

yes 180's r fun tricks, and i can't see how it would be hard to do a 180 over a big table top, i find them to be the easiest tricks to do.

180's are the most stylie and fun tricks ever. Do a floater with a grab and it looks so sweet and you can tweek your grab so much because you don't have to concentrate on spinning.

Imagine the trashiest mother fucker, rocking a brown leather coat zipped all the way up, some white electrics with the black band, hair to the side tucked into his googles and rocking jeans, carving from right to left off a jump grabing nose and just holding it forevor and releasing just as he lands switch.

i am def. having fun with 180s, trying them off our 40ft. big air 14 times. landed 2 of em....

Why don't you take a long walk on a short peir.
 
ahh shit casing switch off a 50 footer on 5s or 1s is terrible on my back, its the worst. 540s for me are sooo much easier than 180s off the big 40-50 footer at my mountain, because you dont see up the hill and have to think about everything, you just kinda spin right onto the landing in 5s

Yea i dont find it that scary or difficult to pull but it takes a few hits to put it down with style but i def own the 180s in our park like a few have been sayin so fun to tweak out over 40 ft i mean SOOOO Fun just do it you wont regret it

I found out what I was doing wrong today. I was so used to hitting rails and small jumps and stuff where you just quickly spin it, that I was pretty much doing a quick 180 and then zero-spinning the last 3/4 of the jump. But today I did a nice 180 safety that felt smooth and I stomped it so i'm glad.
