180 explosion

me and my boy were skiing the other day, just lapping the park. we said we were going to both do 180 japans over the last table. so i go up, do my thing, am about to stomp it, and as soon as i hit the snow my binding explodes. so i am going pretty fast and landing off a pretty big table backwards and then all of a sudden i am doing backflips down the mountain. i probably flipped a good five or six times before i finally came to a stop. i was like 'damn, that was fucking tight', then i look down at my ski and my shitty ass salomon binding has broken into three different pieces at the heel, ending my day on the mountain and causing me to have to pay for a new pair of bindings before i can go up again. i know this is a pointless story, i just felt like sharing my experience

dude that sucks, exact same thing happened to me, 180, good landing, binding explosion, backflips down the landing...im sorry, i had to get new binders too...sucks

that happened to me in the mini park when i was testing the new line binding...small 180 japan and bam that shit was destroyed....

good thing it hapend last run, if you were to leave it til the next day it would have broken the first hit next time you rode, then you would be out the whole day......

that sucks man... i rode the salomon bindings

for 2 years and never had a problem, but i have heard other people complain.

 
but my crash was better cuz i blacked out after the 3rd knock to the back of my head

same thing happened to me the titanium in the heel peice snapped. but the salomon bindings have like a 5 or 10 year waranty so i got new ones the same day
