one day you cant and the next, magic! you can. its retarded how you can join the military, get a gun, go to another country and kill people at 18, but you cant buy an alcoholic beverage until youre 21. good ol USA
hahaha i'm in Canada and last summer i went to a two-week training camp and at the end of it they wanted to send me to Afghanistan. I was like, I'm 15, is that legal?
turns out if you sign with them and they get your parents permission they can do pretty much anything they want with you. they showed up at my high school a few months ago and tried to get me to join again. not gonna happen.
You can buy papers without the annoyance of sometimes being carded! I look really young and the day I turned 18 I went to my local gas station that always turned me down and finally got some papers!
Also it seems like your still in highschool, so you can buy youngins cigars and cigarettes. I was always a big hit at parties when I came in with a bag of cigars for all the guys that were too young to buy them. Plus you always get a little extra skrill for your effort.
Being 18 is awesome. The only downside I'd say is that you have to be careful about the honeys you eye because girls are getting hotter the younger they get now. I've caught myself hitting on a 15 year old before and boy is that a no-no
I turn 20 tomorrow....YIKES!!!! It has really hit me that I will never be a teen-ager again! I know I'm not old, but I really am definitely starting to feel older.
As for 18, in America it's shit, all you get is responsibility for your actions, which can be a two edged sword. I turned 18 in England, and it was bomb cause I was legally able to drink.
18 was a good time, basically when i turned 18 my parents just stopped giving a shit about anything and let me do whatever i wanted. Freedom is sick but comes with responsibilities also. Funny to think ill be 20 this winter....
i turned 18 in april and i have honestly noticed no difference in my life other than being able to buy lottery tickets now...mind you im way to busy to enjoy freedom.
