As I look back to when I first started browsing NS, its crazy to see how much has changed on here and in my own life over the past 18 years.

With the crazy times we are all facing right now, this is a reminder from an OG to stay grateful, stay positive, and stay humble.

Keep it shredding, NS.

Haha! Glad to see some old heads still around this part of town. The years just keep piling on. Amiright?

What are all my og peeps up to these days? Did you end up chasing the dream we all had when we were younger? Or sell out to corporate America like myself?

coulda swore I’d be ski bumming for life. My 16 year old self would kick my ass

Nope, 34 and I havent sold out. Got a seasonal career at the moment. Work all summer to ski all winter. Working in the arctic is great.

Still competing. In fact, im racing the Steep Dreams next weekend at kicking horse. Next year, I wanna do the full circuit. Slopestyles and jams are hard to find in the eastern BC, but I will travel if the event looks fun.

The hard part is finding a significant other in BC that enjoys the mountain life and independant enough that being gone for 5 months straight wont affect her. I wish I could have a family life, but I cant find a girl that will even wants to be a friend.

You know OP, enjoy what you got. Everything is a trade off in life. If you live selfishly, you feel more accomplished in your field but you will be forever alone. Never regret the path you chose
