18-55mm to SuperMacro

at least the cinematography is killer. the actual process looks super risky though to save a few bucks on a decent macro.

I would definately do this if

A) I needed a macro

B) the quality of the macro end product is good. It doesn't look that risky though, as the kit lens without IS is like $40 on ebay (i presume)

seeing as this guy has a 5d and is recording with some sort of a nice slr with a great lens i think destroying a 18-55 isnt a huge lost for him haha
