im 6' 175lbs. very agressive skier on the east coast. looking at 08 Seths for next year. gonna use em for 60% all mtn 40% park. no pipe. i know K2 runs like 2 or 3 cm larger than they say, so what do you guys think, 179 or 189 for me? probably gonna center mount. (dont try and convinve me not to. i know what im doing) thanks!

at 6' I would say go for the 189's I have never talked to a person who was disappointed that they went longer then shorter, I know a bunch of people, including myself who were/are disappointed that they did not go longer.

If you are goinig to centermount I would definately say 189s. They won't seem super long, but you will still have sufficient tip for powdery goodness.

park, i like the way centerd skis ski, ski switch a lot. but im leaning towards 179 currently. i think they actually measure about 183-184, which is where i want to be.

I think you should think about a different ski for switch riding. THe sidecut of the seth makes it much more directional, ie doesnt ski very well switch. You should probably get a 185 rossi Scratch BC which is much better switch, in the park and a good bit lighter.

id go 179, i have the 06/07 AKs center mounted and im 5'11. no real issues in the powder i was doing great in a foot and a half of powder at mt. baker but still able to jib remain agile. The 179s are perfect for control in tight trees. The new seths have a mini rocker too which with insure that your tips aren't gonna be diving in deep pow.
