Anyone know that length of them in cm's. Ive heard that they arnt actually 179's and more like 185's, does anyone know that length from tip to tail on the 179 Hellbents?

i suggest you use the searchbar a bit more and bump a bit less....
The hellbent is one of the most discussed powderskis on this website....
+ share us your length, weight, skiing level and what you want to do with it; shred trees and pillows, or bomb down some gnarly lines....

5'8/5 and im 205 lbs. I ski alot of trees and drops, and ski fast. Been skiing for 13 years. So id say agressive.

i can go as fast as i want to on my hellbents, havent had any problems with them being too soft.but on big drops when you land alot backseat they might be a bit hard to control. for your weight/height, i would recommend you the 189. ive tried alot of powder skis, but the hellbent was the ultimate tool.the only "downside" is that they have a high swingweight. its actually hard to do 180 presses, since the swingweight just always makes them 360 presses.at the beginning i was worried about the length and weight, and thought that i couldnt handle them, since i only weigh 150 pounds at 6 foot, but once youve clicked into them, they ski nearly as easily as my park ski. especially in powder they are really playful.
however if you like to take big drops and hit chopped up pow, then id suggest you get a stiffer ski, like the one life, or the JJ.

i would take a look at Surface Live Life 2s (or whatever theyve become)
the 189 skis plenty short, and is much much much much much stiffer than the bents.

(i have both) different skis for sure. but the flex on the LL2s are much more conducive to someone your size in terms of flex
