178 too big?

Hey, i'm 5'6" and about 165 lbs. Do you think 178 invaders would be too big for park only? I would wait for the 171's but I want these skis for whistler in the summer. Thanks in advance.

 
... if you centermount them they should be fine, but thats almost too big... i would get a 170-75, but if you are set on them they should be fine

are you done growing. if not, go for the 178. the invaders are super light and flexy, so you can get away with having a bigger ski. if it was something stiffer or beefier, i'd say no, but with the invader go for it.

nah, definetly not done growing. Also, I'll be using reactors on them. Will the quickmount screws be set more forward then other line skis because the invaders are supposed to be center mounted?

 
the mount point on invaders is exactly center so you can mount them either way
