178 Skogen Sprang too long?

I'm looking at the 178 cm Skogen Sprang Pro Model, and wondering if it might be too long? I am about 5'8" and 115-120 pounds. I do alot of all mountain skiing, including ice and bumps in the east. I am pretty agressive, but do not want to end up with a ski that I just can not handle. Please do not try to sell me your skis, if I am getting these, I already have a seller with a low price agreed on.

5'8 = 173 cm tall, so these skis are a few cms larger than you, which isn't a big deal. It gives you something to grow in to. As well, if you mount these at true center, or really close, they won't seem as large to you. And finally, Line usually makes a soft ski, so you should be able to handle it no problem.

these should be pretty good for u no matter what year they are,

if u are getting 04-05 the luiviton(sp) print u may want to go smaller if ur not used to that much ski because they are quite stiff. but they should be fine anyway

if they are 03-04 or 02-03 green or orange, this will be fine im 5'9 and i ride the 178 03-04 and they feel a little small cause they are mounted center so if it is any of these 2 years they will be fine for length, and a good park ski. they may not hold up to well on ice, im not sure i havent been in any ice on them yet(i live on west coast), so im not sure how these will be on the icecoast

I bought the Skogens for $250, if I can't handle them I can either resell them to a friend or just struggle for a while until I get used to them. Thanks for the help, guys.

Yeah you guys can thank me later for taking the last available pair of new Skogens on the internet...I got a really good price, but there are none left at that store, and I couldn't find them anywhere else.
