178 cm the right length?

im 5' 10.5'', probably about 140 pounds and im probably gonna get invaders.. and the sizes are 171 and 178..im pretty sure 178 is the way to go but i wanna check with newschoolers first

oh yeah and this is my first year with freestyle stuff if that helps..and im planning on having these skis for awhile or at least getting the most amount of use out of them

Naw bro you for sure want the 171 at biggest. Think about it if they make 161, 171, 178 do you think that at 125bs you are in the top third of the people they made these skis for? It should be a question between the 161 and 171 not the 171 and 178 even.

I'm 6' 200lbs and I like the Invaders in 178. I am 1 and 2/3s of you bro think about it. You'll kill it on the 171.

actually it should be a skill, performance and weight rqatio combination. A good skier can ski longer skis and get the same perfomance, if not better. Good skiers should ski longer skis.

Well, you are 179cm tall, and the standard right now is skis the same length as you. Plus center mounting them takes a bit of length off. You'll be just fine.
