Im 5 5 and still growing. Will this be to big? I have a sweet deal on 176 salomon suspects.

Really want to do it. I would true center mount to. Im 120 pounds.

possibly a tad on the bigger side, depends how much ud grow but at what ur at right now id probrably put u at 171s or w.e

ha dude im not an expert on this but im 5'8'' 135 and im only getting 171s but im getting line chronics so idk about salomon but everyone was telling me 171s might be to big

na, theyll be just fine + look super steezy.

im 6´1 and i pesonally prefer it when the ski is like 2 inches taller than you.

but its harder for me to find skis that are taller than me, than it is for you.

go for them!!!

alright thanks, i think ill prolly do it. Im def still growing since i havent really grown my whole life. thanks

Im 5' 10 " and am riding 175s so idk how well youd be able to handle 176s. You may have a tougher time with rails. Id go with them if youre planning on growing 5" before next season.

They are a fine size. I was about 5'3 rode 173 punx for most of the season and I was fine. I'm about 5'6 now and had the opportunity to ride a pair of bacons on the momentum lane for a bit and I was fine on those skis, and they are big skis.

I was 5' 6" when i rode 176 skis. Not a problem at all, especially if you grow into them. Centermount is key here.

nah man go for it, twin tips ski short. People do not think through much that raising the tail of a ski takes away a lot of(well, a very noticable amount) running surface on groomers, and a ski mounted for park skis even shorter. It is preferance but you will be fine and will be super stable on larger stuff at your size.

171 is definitely not too big for you. To the thread creator, if you feel comfortable going with a 176, then do it. You should because you are most likely still growing.

DO NOT GET SUSPECTS!! didnt even last me half a season. And i think it might be too big. Im 6' 4" and ride 182 Alphas

your weight and I am guessing rail skiing probably was more of a beat down on Suspects than he will give. Most people would be fine on them. Mr.Derrick just broke both tails of some Alphas at Windells, and he is for sure under 160lbs. Plus ski length is preferance, you are basically skiing 150s when skiing jumps(rocker and especially taper on groomers=shorter ski)
