176 or 181 AR6

I need to buy skis soon and i am thinking about get AR6's . i weigh 150 and i am 6'1 what size would be better 176 or 181.

im 6 feet 175 and i just got the 176s and they are fine for me

not when you get the wrong size. NS is so stoked on long skis sometimes they overperscribe. he weights 150. even if hes an expert skier, and in the park, 176 is what is right for him. i was just in the same prediciment. im also 6'1''. but i weigh in the 160's, so i got the 181's. he should do what feels right for him, but without knowing anything about the skiing he does, what hes tried before, what areas he'll be in...i feel more gravitated to reccomend the 176's. yeah, he can ski 181's, and if he wants to, he certainly should. yet again, just my opinion.

keep in mind it's only a two inch difference, that being said i would go 181 especially if you mount thme close to center

^ but if he wants to control the ski more go with the 176...you dont weigh much kid and you can flex the 176 better than the 181
