175 or 185 jj ?

I will be ordering myself a pair of jj's soon. Should I go with the 185's or the 175's? I am 5 foot 10 170 pounds.

 
185s no doubt. Please don't make the mistake of getting the 175s. They ski unbelievably short on harder snow so don't worry. I promise you will not regret it. Besides, even if they do seem long at first, you will always grow into them. You will like these skis so much you won't want to get rid of them before you were to grow into them anyway. Enjoy!!
 
Good deal.. Yea I was leaning towards the 185's, I can't fucking wait to get them!!! So excited. Now...which bindings?

 
if you haven't already gotten them i would lean torwards the 195's i know im gonna try to sway my 185's out next year for the 195's. but as far as bindings go i would say the sth 14 driver
 
I believe my ar7's are 187....i dunno...195 seems like a large ski. I mean that's the biggest armada makes the jj. Being that im only 5 10, 195 seems like to much. i dunno.....
 
what about the look pivot 14's? I love my look bindings on my ar7s. Never had a salomon binding before. anyone have any experience or any opinions on the looks vs the sth?

 
seeing as he just recommended the pivots I would say no.

I have look P18's on my jjs and love them, the 14 is a great binding with less din and a px toe. solid choice for your size.
 
OP if you haven't already purchased the said JJs, you may want to consider picking up the AKJJs, at 5'10/170 at speed the 195 would feel more comfortable. If your skiing steeper lines with drops I would strongly recommend a 195.
 
yea the regular jj doesn't come in 195. I dunno....I just feel like 195's are huge. 195's are aprox 6 feet 3 inches. WOW! I feel like I should just bite the bullet and get some 210's lol. jk I dunno. Now I am more confused. What is the main difference between the akjj and the regular jj?
