i hate to be making this thread, but do people think a 173cm atomic punx will be too small for me? i'm just over 6', about 185cm.

do the punx run long or short? this may sounds weird, but different ski companies measure different ways; tip to tip or the length of the surface area (including the curvature of the ski)

whatchu got, guys?

If its gonna be a park only ski - then you are fine, but for all mountain might be a little short.

I ski a 168 - Wall for park and a 184 -Patent for everything else.... I am 6'

Well they will definitely feel shorter being centre mounted and heard they are on the softer side so you have to take those things into consideration.

Its shorter than most people would ride these days put it that way. I'm 5'9 (175cm) and I would go for the 173s. Some people on here would argue those even are too small for me but in the end its preference. If you like a shorter ski, they will be fine, easy to spin but less stable. They are quite soft as well, the 182 would probably be a better size IMO.

Dude, you should go for the 182 if you are 185. Longer skis will make you a better skier and short skiis look wierd. Im 174 and have the 174 works fine!

it's full camber not rockered so 173 is a good size, i'm 6'4 riding 177 afterbangs because there not rockered, if you do happen to look into rockered skis tho i suggest going as big as you can

As said above, Punx' are centermounted and pretty soft, so you'll probably want to have them a little longer... They're damn light too, so a little extra length isn't going to be a big deal. Personally I'm 5'8 and have the 173s which I feel are a perfect length for me, so I think if possible you should go for the 182s. Of course, it's not going to be the end of the world if you get 173s, and in the end it really comes down to personal preference.
