i just aquired a 16mm camera. i was wondering what a good cheap film would be to use(reversal film with sprocket holes on one side). can you buy the film with a mailer? the only place i have found film so far is b and h photo, but im sure they sell it other places as well.

you can buy direct from Kodak or Fuji or whoever...or go to their sites and see their dealers...try and maybe find a film distributor ro get cheaper prices. reversal film, as in, non-negative? B & H is a good place to start...So is adorama camera, they are big in New York too.

yes, reversil film as in non-negitive. i kno that this looks worse when you put it in to the computer then doing negitive film and switching it in the computer, but i dont wana supend all that money, i just wana do somthing that i can see in the projector for starters.

Yeah, then try the places I said above. Later on, it doesn't matter if you use negs or color reversal, you should get it Telescined to make it digital anyway, which is expensive, but the way to do it.

yeah like i said i just wana try this thing out. but i think you are wrong about it dosent matter what film you use if it will be transfured to the comp........a few diffrent ppl who i have talked to this about have said that the negitve is the only thing that will come out good.

Not necessarily...I have seen some super dope time lapses taken with Fuji Velviam which is a color reversal film. And when you get it telescined, it doesn't matter....they take it all
