150 jumps at Bear?

so i just got the new issue of freeskier and in the travel guide section under parks bear gets a shout out. In it though it says bear has 150 jumps. Now i have never rode a bear but i have at pc, keystone, break, mammoth and a bunch of other super parks in the west and 150 jumps sound a bit much unless the entire mountain is in run, jump, table, landing, in run etc.. . So just like to confirm freeskier had a misprint.

ya, that sounds to be a little much. boreal doesnt even have nearly 150 jumps and i cant imagine bear having much more that boreal.

i think it is also because bear has a bunch of little jumps everywear, and they might count there rollers as jumps

Bear is a fun place to ride, but out of the 150 jumps they claim to have, only one was fun to hit

Maybe there was a typo and they meant about 15? or they were just exaggerating?

Bear is sick, and they build amazing parks... but 150 jumps... no way.

maybe 150 TERRAIN FEATURES if they have a good snow year and get crazy with jibs..

i've been riding bear all my life, since they changed management they have converted the mountain into an entire terrain park. its 150 features on average but at their maximum it is 150 jumps and 80 jibs. Yes there are alot of little jumps all over the place but there are about 20 good size jumps. Dont talk wat you dont know about The reason they are able to get that many is because they jsut pack features like you wouldn't imagine. It def wasnt a typo. But you can have fun on the small jumps too. You just have to have an open mind and be creative to have fun.

Thats my favorite part about bear, I think it is the most creative mountain I've ever been to; There was really only one really sick one. But there is so much stuff packed together I think bear is the sickest mountain to just lap all day.

i only went there 5 times last year but i felt like they did not a a good big jump line they just had one big one and bunch of smaller ones everywhere. i wish they would put in a 3 jump line with bigger jumps. overall bear is a ton of fun

It's referred to "the park at bear" for a reason.

Bear is a giant park. Summit is filled with families.

This is why they can draw so many pros to their events.

the entire bear resort, is pretty much park. and snow summit has all the runs. and i think they mean a 150 features, so rails, jumps, etc. they do have alot, most arent super huge tho.

They want to have a sick jump line. Couple years back they had 3 decent like two 30s and a 50. But it's so damn hot up there either the in run gets slushy and you can't get enough speed, or the landing melts down and you over shoot, or in the afternoon one jump is in the shade and it gets icy and fast as hell. There's just no way for them to maintain three big jumps in row and keep them safe. They'd need like a full crew for that alone. The shit they set for the pros always looks dope but they never let anyone hit it.
