i got my new 175 troublemakers back from the shop today and i got to try them out on this litle drop in-to box I built and i went to do 270 on which is mad easy but i only got 180 cause I wasnt used to how big the skis were. With my 160 AR5s i could do 3s on the ground standing and the few times i tried spiining i only got like 270. will i get used to the new length soon? cause im goin to killington tomorrow and i dont wana suck on jibs

Dude its a 175 suck it up and stop being a pussy. Even 175 is short, maybe stop being a park rat and you will get used to it. Besides who wants to be able to do 360s standing on flat ground, do you huck all your tricks a foot off the ground or what?

i went from 158's to 169's and my 1st time riding them i couldn't do dick all...but then skiing on the for a while and just getting a feel of them they were like skiing on my 158's i felt fine

well i couldnt do 3s on te ground with my 150s from last year (i was short) now i can do em on my 177s (i grew like a foot)

im 5'7 or 5'6 and i can do 7s over a 3ft table no lie on 175s....its part of our super mini section

you'll be fine with them in no time, i learned 270s on and switch 270s-on using 164's in my backyard, then the next day did them on real rails on my 175's (as tall as me) and didnt have a problem after the first one.

Tanner uses 176 and he is 5'6' dont worry about it./ i am getting 178 and i am 5'10' and i would go bigger but that is the biggest of the skis that i want.

haha you think 15 is a big jump .. try going from what were (im shamefully admitting this) practically skiboards (142cm mikenicks) up to a pair of 182cm 1260s.. thats a difference.. but i can ski just as welll now with the llong ones and its only been a short time

all of you guys ski on short skis. I know how you feel though, i have 179 fugatives, and they are really nice for jibbing and spinning, and my volkls are longer and heavier and they arent as much fun in the park, however i did get used to them and can do rails and shit good now.

 
took me a bout 4 days of skiing to go from 161 1080s to 170 msps, of course MSPs are crazy wide and are really stiff, but once i got on them, i could never go back.. big skis rock, 170 is about an inch above my head, and its really good...

 
im 5'8 on 172s i dont really get the status symbol part of long skis..yeah sure theyre harder to do stuff on but like, you ski on what you feel comfortable with yknow? everyone who is bashing you for skiing on short skis should shut up

i went from 146's to 180 and i had no problem, try going up over a foot! and i can spin so much better with longer skis
