15/16 Rossingnol slats

I rode this years at the beginning of the season sold them 2 months in. Would of sold them a week in if I had other skis. They have 0 flex underfoot and they don't get "soft" until the tips. Heavy, Edges sucked, durability was eh alright. But I hated them swing weight was atrocious too. Personally I rode a few other brands and I chose revision's talisman much softer but still stable although they're cambered. Almost identical dimensions too and half the price. Talisman 176 132-96-122 Rossi slat 176 122-97-112. Hope that helps some

Don't listen to this. I've ridden them before and I really liked them. Really poppy edge to edge and felt really confidence inspiring. They could have been a little more stable, but that's not an issue for me. Really, if you think the swing weight is "atrocious" you must be pretty weak haha. For me, the swing weight was nothing to brag about, but was just normal (which is totally fine). And they were playful, definitely a medium-soft flex... Soft enough to get up on the tips, but not so soft to the point where they just give out and have no support, which is perfect imo. Weight was on the heavier side (still nothing I would cry about, it was fine) Don't let one person who never gives them a chance ruin your whole view on a ski. If you think they sound fun and/or want a super playful park ski that absolutely slays all conditions, go for it. I wouldn't hesitate to pick up a pair if the opportunity ever presented itself.

Ive got strong legs and they're no problem to swing just don't feel right. And I do admit they're good for carving and they chop through the slush Nice. But I just felt they rode like 2x4s I really like the rossi storms though they're lighter and feel more nimble but they camber so they stay nice and stable flex I would say is about what he said the slats are. But to me I like a noodle so the slat felt stiff in my eyes

Why shouldn't OP listen to his review? People are allowed to have opinions on things, and when buying something expensive like skis, it's good to get as many opinions as possible, even if some contradict each other. This is why people need to put things like their height, weight, and skiing style when reviewing a product. A ski will feel drastically different to two people based on how big they are, what their skiing style is, and what kind of skis they normally like. Giving this info will also help OP make a more informed decision since he'll be able to then best match his own size and ski style to the reviews of products people are giving him.

Watts: Sorry, I should have said don't count them out because of this review, or something along those lines...

mantoast: I see what your saying. That 2x4 feeling comes from that fact that they seem very torsionally stiff, something I enjoy in a ski. Also, I had storms as well and will admit they are insane, great if you're looking for something soft and ultra playful.

I know what you mean there, I'm more of that able to flex underfoot a bit but the slats did rid stable in the chop,

I should add I'm 5'6 184 and rode 176 and 182s the 82s were a little much for the 76 was nice though. Aggressive riding like to bomb hills and slam into stuff haha

Totally get that,

Adding to the post above, I'm 5'10 185lbs, and race as well... so even in the park I ski super fast and aggressive... That's probably the reason I felt they were playful, the more speed you give them the easier they play... Definitely a ski for someone that is used to/prefers a stiffer ski but wants something that's easy to butter around and jib on without losing any support.

if you think those dimensions and/or skis are alike, well... nope! that's all I need to say haha.

they're way different skis, obviously you like the softer side of the spectrum.

It's a medium stiffness ski. I demoed them at Lake Louise this past season and loved them. Much easier to stomp big jumps and hold their own anywhere on the mountain. I actually picked some up a few days ago.
