14s next year?

wow. last year it seemed to be all about the 10s, maybe one or two 12s, and this year all 12s. it seems to be going up by a half rotation each year. even the 1st years were throwing them! i couldnt even imagine what a 12 in a pipe would feel like, not to mention grabbing. i guess the 14 is not out of the question next year.
 
quit bitching about spin to win. 5 years ago peoples 9's in the pipe were way more hucked than some of the 12's I saw tonight. Skiing is getting crazier, just about every kid in the park these days can do a steezy cork 5, the difficutly of the tricks is what is seperating the top skiers from the rest of us.

I think comps should be all about doing the hardest tricks and making them look the easiest. could you imagine how pissed people would be if everyone threw 5's in big air. like how would you judge 20 flawless rodeo 5's or switch 7's or somthing

5 years ago a 9 was winning every comp there was. I would much rather see a stylish switch cork 5 or 7 then a hucked out 12 or 14.
 
Id rather see a switch zero than 14s. Maybe not in the pipe, but one of Pep's smooth switch zero mute or blunts in big air = orgasmic.
 
yee, andrew taylor im pretty sure did both of those, didnt land teh 16, but landed the 14, heres a vid link to it, i dont know how to embed...
