When I come back from the hill and have a computer that is online 24 - 7 (college network) I like to chill out, watch some vids and see what people are talking about. Am I a computer nerd? no. Does having a lot a posts mean I don't ski? Not at all. And you can't make so many generalizations about people, such as "you're prolly emo." or shit like that. Chillllll!

ok. here's how I see it. Tosh, first of all, congrats on your 1440. yes it is a big spin, and there are not a lot of people that have done them. I can see why you would make a thread to tell the NS community. But you do not need to go around and brag and claim that you are the shit. No, I cannot do a 1440, and I can not spin all 4 540s. In fact, I hurt myself trying to spin a 5 yesterday. Does that make you feel good? That you are better than me.

For a lot of kids, skiing is not their whole life. And a lot of kids look up to "pros," and I use that term loosely, like you in the sport to inspire themselves. Now apparently you are only 16, and although I am not a fan of large spins, and the whole "spin to win" lifestyle, I can still respect that it is a difficult trick that is done by few. Now being 16, I can see that you are still a bit immature, and you want to claim your trick. But you and I both know that you are better than 95% of this site, so you don't need to start arguing with the population of NS about how sick you are. I think that as a "pro" in the sport, you should be acting more mature and make it so kids strive to be like you, and give them something positive to look up too. Though you are young, you should be more responsible and less of a jerk to people not as good as you. And before you go on hating me for this, don't think this is just another post hating on you, because I respect what you did, but you know I'm right.

yo man i kind of disagree about his responsibility as a pro... he's 16 years old. he shouldn't have to worry about kids looking up to him. hes still a kid. just a kid thats fucking good at skiing. he did a cork 14 and he's happy about it. anyone that isn't stoked for him is just jealous.

and caleb, your posts are sweet but seriously man you don't need to talk down to a 16 year old kid just because you're at a higher education institution(i'm not really sure but i gathered from your posts that you are). you guys are both good at different things.

I agree that he should be happy about it. It's a tough trick, and I am stoked for him. I sure as hell couldn't do it. But I think that he is pushing this down the throats of NS, and was perterbed that no body made a thread on this, so he had to do it himself. Yes, he should be stoked, but no, he shouldn't be a dick about it, and tell kids that he is better than them. We all already know that. But with being a pro you have to handle the commitment that comes with it, along with being able to handle yourself in a positive light. Even tho he is only 16, he has to act more responsible and try not to be a dick.

true true but the fact is that newschoolers is just not a responsible place. bummer about that fact. but think about when you take a bunch of young kids that are fucking good at an action sport, so they all have some attitude, then give them the ability to all talk to each other without having to be face to face, you're gonna get a bunch of people talking shit.

You did a fucking 1440... thats dandy, almost as mind blowing as when C.R. did them 100 years ago, not to mention that the jump was NOT huge (they dont know what huge jumps are in Park silly) therefore Im sure it was less than epic. Tosh, homie, your what 16? and your going to front like your on some shit talking about "come smoke a spliff and I'll teach you a thing or two about skiing"........ nah son, definatly notmafuckas BEEN 16, mafuckas been skiing as long as youve lived, and I definatly been smoking nicer than your wack overpriced under cured utah garbage.
