Yeah, it finally happened in snowboarding the past few years but womens skiing is behind imo. Def cool to see it going down. How more young skiers/riders get into it. The whole do a 3 and maybe a crappy 5 thing was getting old.

I'm also glad to see things worked out. I remember women complaining when they wouldn't make a smaller course for women and the discussion. I honestly wasn't sure.

I was thinking maybe it could be a good idea if it made people progress but I'm not sure it would have. Probably to some extent but I think it was kind of a cop out for some. The best thing is better people coming in and throwing down and that's what we're seeing now. In a few years it'll get to the point where your bullshit ungrabbed 360s and 630 to revert 7 won't get you to the big events, and that's good imo. The same way some people wouldn't slide rails in slopestyle.

Women have progressed a ton in rails though. Watching the dew tour had me stoked. Hoping the jumps aren't far behind.
