NWT3K = "Northwest Tech"

that's mind blowing tbh, I always thought it was new-tech.

Anyhow, I saw camper kev rocking this stuff at hood, it looked awesome for sure.

I had just created a dope jacket on the site before I even saw this thread, I love the idea but a tad bit spendy as a tline lifty id love to talk about pro form stuff

I've seen you guys on here before but never looked at the threads. Shit seems super legit. As a Seattleite your guys business reminds me of a new school feathered friends (except outerwear not down obviously). How long have you guys been around? Stoked to see you guys only improve for the future. Best of luck.

Thanks for your stoke, man!

This will be our third winter season in business.

Why the mesh lining?

We added the mesh lining for a handful of reasons:

1. It really completes and adds more insulation to jacket overall. Instead of being just a bare shell, it's a happy-medium between an insulated jacket and a bare shell.

2. We can now add awesome features like wrist gators & interior pockets with out having to sew through the face fabric of your jacket. Less stitching, less water.

3. The moisture wicking mesh lining keeps perspiration (your sweat) away from the face fabric. This is key for breathability and comfort in general.

We thought it was a positive addition.

So are the jackets 2.5 layer or 3 layer with the mesh as an additional layer?

or 2 layer with hanging liner?

Our DWR 20k fabric is 3-layers. Similar to other 3-layer, Waterproof breathable hard shells.

We add a floating (moisture wicking) mesh liner to the interior of the jacket as well as the pant/powder bib.

So, in theory, people who don't like mesh linings could cut it out and the inside of the fabric would hold up fine?

In theory, yes. Although we would never recommend this.

Two seasons ago our jackets were strictly just shells with no mesh liner and worked great. However, we thought the added mesh liner contributed substantially more to our custom jackets.

i wanna get a jacket so bad and have made some super sick ones, the only thing holding me back is the price. will you guys ever have even 10 or 15 % off sales cause that would probably be enough for me to justify the purchase

Chances yall can make me the same jacket but in a fishtail

Thanks for the question - unfortunately we can't deviate away from the current designs.

We love the input though, how about uploading a pic of a "fish tail" design you like?

Totally understandable and we appreciate the feedback.

We'd like to suggest looking closer at what our prices are getting you for the custom products we offer compared with other brands in the marketplace --

- Uniquely designed by you - no retailers, shops, etc. will have your gear. It is literally one-of-a-kind and can't be found elsewhere. No more seeing your "lookalike" on or off the hill.

- Durable 3 layer, nylon 20k/20k hardshell fabric (choose from 15 colors)

- durable oversized #8 polyurethane zippers (choose form 10 colors)

- entirely rider inspired fit, design and technical features

- Made in the USA and on your doorstep within approx. 3 weeks time

- 100% satisfaction warranty - if you're not completely stoked on your gear within the first 7 days. Send it back to us and we'll refund you in full or make you a new set!

FWIW I have a pair of Powder Bowl pants from a few years ago that have a wicking mesh liner in them and I freakin' love it. Way nicer than I thought it would be and it really helps keep the inside from getting clammy and gross when you sweat. Still stays cool and breathes very well but also does sort of keep you a little warmer too. Huge fan of this right here- when properly executed anyways.

I love the look and concept of this company. I'm in need of something to replace my Strafe bibs and y'all have the best thing going...

But here's a serious question... how solid is the interior pant protection? how do these hold up to blasting through branches and fending off crampon bites?

Santa better earn some serious benjammins in the next month or so. These could be my jam

Any insulation? Or is it just a custom hardshell?

Jackets and pants are composed of a Nylon 20k, 3-layer hard shell and then include an interior mesh floating liner.

We like to describe our custom products as a "hybrid" between an insulated jacket/pant and a hard shell. The added floating liner adds some extra insulation.

Custom jackets and pants are designed to be worn over your favorite base layers.

More media content. Edits on edits on edits.

Don't listen to this guy. You guys seem to have an awesome product - and what you are doing by offering a clompletely customizable jacket is really innovative and impressive.

the problem is you have no brand. Who is your company? Why should we wear this logo? posting a thread on here full of marketing material is so formal and un creative. You guys should work on making your brand something that people are passionate about showin off. I would suggest taking a look at what Steve jobs did in tech And why he did i things the way he did.

Love the feedback, man! We're working on it :)

All your stuff looks rad as fuck but i think custom outerwear caters to a pretty niche market, it would be cool to see a NWT3K line of standardized outerwear, I think with the materials you guys are using if you focused on making a banger line every season it would be some of the freshest shit on the scene.

Definitely stoked on the idea and it seems like you make a quality product. You are located in Seattle?

I like the idea of something halfway between a shell and a normal coat, I have wanted a quality 3L shell with wrist gators for a while.

Keep killing it! It would definitely be sick to see a little more content this year!
