How much different is the toe box really going to be?And do the rubber solers make a major difference.

Currently have the '09 model hot doggers, and need to get some new ones soon

just wondering if the improvements are that great, or if this years model will be just as good

For what I know, the toe box just gives more room for the big toes and all those guys on the end of your feet.

As for the replaceable sole, it will provide better grip when walking, along with it being fully replaceable for when it gets heavily worn out.

I'll probably be picking up a pair of First Chairs next year to replace my current ones.
 
I have my 10s for big mountain and powder charging, and 8s (which I find really soft) for park skiing.
