yes it certainly was. saw it in vancouver last night... rfa was good, but it could have been because it followed 1242, it didnt seem as good as happy dayz or propaganda. 1242 on the other hand was one of the best ski movies ever in my mind.

RFA was sooo sick, i have no idea why anyone would diss it. It was almost on par with 1242, which was exactly what i hoped it would be; a skiing afterbang. Positive vibe, funny shit, and sick skiing. best movie ever.

i thought RFA was a good movie, but not as progressive as propaganda or happy dayz, but 1242 (saw it last night at the seattle prmiere) was more of what i expected from Jonny and PBP. i loved it, but i think rfa still left a little to be desired. just my opinion.

rfa kicked ass...its the best ski movie i have ever seen...but now some of you say that 1242 is better or about the same...shit...skiing is progressing faster than most people think it is

I havnt seen 1242 yet.. just RFA and RFA slaughters happy days or any other ski movie. So 1242 just must be insane.

RFA is sick sick sick. Watch it a couple of times, and you'll start seeing how sick it is. A million times better than happy dayz. 1242 is absolutely amazing, and that's all you can say about that.

How come when I asked whether Stereotype or Happy Dayz was better, all but one person said Stereotype, yet people continually mention Happy Dayz and never Stereotype when comparing new movies?

 
what's everyone's problem with happy dayz? i thought it was damn good. it has a good soundtrack, the skiing is pretty crazy with the big c rails and the loop down rail and tanner doing switch cliff drops and d spin 10s... i think its sick, and rfa just seemed to start out really slow... but from steeles section and on it was good.

I liked 1242 partly because it was faster, more diverse and like more diverse. Auclair's crash on the roof was great! RFA was just too... mediocre? maybe? i just got this kinda grey feeling from it, nothing really stood out except the crash segment, but all crash segments do. 1242's crashes were better still.

im surprised no one has brought up Seth's segment in 1242. it was all footage from like 2/3 seasons ago, and wasnt too progressive. also i was somewhat disapointed with anthony b's segment, just cuz he did some 7s that werent so hot, and didnt really step it up except for his rails, which were sick. i thought one of the MOSt progressive segments was Kristis. she did a sick cork 7, and a misty 5, two tricks which werent in moview in previous years. her style also developed alot, and her unnaty rails were dope.

yeah, 1242 was good... but there were some disapointing sections. Especially seth, whats with a short segment with way old footie thats in ski movie 2.

soundtracks for both were great. rorys crevasse thing was when he did a butter 270 or something off a little cornice (15 feet?) and he landed backwards, 30 feet later he dissapears. the cameraman runs over and hes in a crevasse like 7 feet down there, head first... he was yelling someon help me or something

yeah, seth was definitely disappointing but you can't have expected much. johnny d has never done movies with seth and big mounatin. but yeah him and hugo needed more time.
