1242, our Afterbang?

Oh by the way... I don't think Robot Food and a Stump movie are even CLOSE to being in the same ball park...

What robot food did with Afterbang was no different than what MacDawg does with any of their movies... they are both straight porno style...

The difference is, robot food threw in shots of dudes buttering all over the place and high fiving each other to break up the monotany of the standard shot after shot after shot I'm a serious thug mother fucker style with swollen members/aynonmous punk/etc music, and instead edited to happy, different music that the 20 somthing crowd would get all nolstalgic to, and really dig on it...

Stump was a narrorator... he did wierd skits between segments... location segments... etc.

 
location segments are where it is at...watch saturation, cause these old movie formats are getting stale and not as sweet to watch.

and hey, at least robotfood brought the fun back into these films.

 
Exactly, Stump and the Robots break up the action with something else and make the entire movie work together as a narrative of the people involved.

If you count Blunt as a PBP deal then yes, that is the most creative film PBP has done. I wasn't there to see how involved Johnny was in that.

I'm not taking anything away from the movies that provide the most, and best, snow action every year. I just watch them a couple of times — but all year long I found myself still watching and being entertained by Afterbang.

 
iv watched afterbang more then i watch some ski movies i own and i dont snowboard either its just like the best snowboard movie ever

jerk it out is such a good song and they edited to it soo well.

moving on... afterbang is so fuckin sick, not even because of the riding, but because of the way they edited so fuckin well, and the riders dont take themself so seriously like skiiers seem to do. plus there's a ton of fuckin around that doesnt get boring and they edit it in well...its juts sucha sick movie

personally afterbang is the best video i have ever seen period..skiing or snowboarding..session 1242 had some good stuff but i don't think it compares to the flow of afterbang. it just has such a unique feel that i've never gotten from any ski video. hopefully a ski video from this year will feel the same way..if that makes any sense

1242 legitimizes us I think mroe than anything. Afterbang brought new life into something that's been legitimized for a long time

I just love that the Robots came out of nowhere with their first movie and just blew everyone away. I don't know anyone that year that didn't see that movie and think it was the best flick they'd ever seem.
