go watch a warren miller film if you want to see face shots of skiers ploughing throuw pow. ITs cool yes, but everyones seen it before - 180 switch landing into pow !! thats some crazy shit. Def not as easy as he makes it out to be

if you have ever made turns in deep powder you would understand getting turned on by watchin the face shots, but clearly you all dont know how to ski and just go down the hill gorilla style on rails. stupid jib monkeys

i suck ass in the park, but im a pretty good skier outta the park, i like session 1242 because they have both, powder and freestyle, both of which make me happy

I was super impressed at how good the pros were out of the park. they only show footage of them hitting jumps and rails and shit. it was cool to see them ski big mountain and they're really fucking good at it too.

dude people buy movies like 1242 cause they wanna see more than just pow shots and such, however if youve watched the movie youll see that all the park skiers ski some dope lines to, if u dont like jibbin no problem but no need to hate on it

anything freestyle on skis is crazy, i give props to anyone of those guys, and yeah they do take some fucking crazy lines...

guy you have no idea..

you think these guys havent skied pow before... common. most are ex mogul skiers wich means they have had crazy skills all over the mountain for a londg time.

and you want to ski forward to get face shots.... ha, obviously you have never rode switch pow before, well let me tell you you get mad mad face shots guy.

 
Yeah, I'm glad someone actually shot tanner on a mountain. He's been skiing them since he was little, but he's only been filmed in the park until now. I think it will only get better from here. Pep also killes it on the BC scene in focused and 1242.

As for turning in pow to get face shots, not so hot. It's fun to do for a few turns, but quickly gets boring and I'll usually straightline bowls. The way I see powder it should be jumped into because it's so soft. With fat skis, turning in powder is the same as turning on a groomer, only with less asian tourists in your way. The stuff in 1242 was sick because tanner and JP were on a really steep slope and going really fast. Big turns are fun to watch, but Warren Miller face shots make me want to shoot myself.

powder switch is cool and there will be skeptics but it is cool and takes skill, so go try yourself to a line ass-backwards i dareyou

the others probably did some stuff too but i don't know it

i wasn't really surprsed by their out-of-the-park skills. they're just good.
