for sure. me and a few mates are goin to try and get together on that weekend which is the first of the summer skiin season and shit. we were gonna try and get a cheap place at the skotel at summer prices to stay and just get pissed and go skiing. thats the plan so far. anyone who wants to come just post on this thread and we might be able to sort some shit out. shud be allrite fun, dunno what sorta park setup there is gonna be but yeh we can work some shit out.

where is this place, im from canada and i just got into the country a week ago. im up in auckland but thinking of heading down to the south island after this weekend

 
mayb it wasnt such a bad idea to bring skis anyway eh. fokker mt ruapehu is in like the middle of the north island like 4 and a half hours from auckland. they are opening on the 11th right thru too 4th jan so if you up for some skiing i would head up there.

is anybody in the auckland area going down that weekend? would anybody have room in the car if we split the fuel costs?

 
fuckin family always gettin in the way of plans. i cant make it on the 11th now i dont think cos i have some dinne lunch thing with cousins and was told 'no skiing' so that sucks. but i will def be going down on sun morning. do a 4:30 am mission from t town and make it there in time for some riding. there was like 30cm snow over the weekend wtf... so insane and more in the forecast. so freshies in december sounds pretty cool too me.

I went skiing there yesterday.. was sooo sunny and pretty goood snow.... Soo much fun, not that much to do tho, I kinda learnt unatural cork 270 on this hip, but it was pretty small.. fun tho.. I have the worst sun burn ever...
