115mm brakes on a 93mm ski? Will this work?

So I was getting my chronic cryptos mounted with my my rossi fks 12's. The problem was the brakes i had on were too narrow so the tech had to order wider ones but the only ones he had available were 115mm ones. Im wondering if these are going to be too wide for my skis.

my 90mm breaks work on my crypto's easily, don't even have to be bent out. its jesters though, cant speak for fks.

i have 115mm breaks on a 92mm under foot and they are the fks and it works fine ive never have it catch in 2 years ive been riding that set up

Sounds like a bad idea. I've got Pivots with the 90 mm brakes on my Chronics (this year, so 92 mm) and the fit is absolutely perfect.

The chances of bending/breaking your breaks will significantly increase. Especially if you're planning on doing anything switch...

Lol the issue is that they are already too wide, being a little wider because they're behind the waist is worse..

Just bend the old brake, if you still have it... both my FKS are on skis around 20mm wider than the brake they came with.

no its not, you obviously didn't think very hard before posting this.

The SKI is wider behind the middle, not the brake, meaning that a 108 underfoot with a short turning radius might be 112 at the brake line, and closer to the brake width.
