110mm Binding on K2 Reckoner 102?

Will 110mm bindings be too wide for a 102 underfoot ski? Would prefer to go with 100mm but found a good deal on 110 bindings

95 for attacks and reck102s. Mine fit flawlessly.

I might have the 100s honestly can't remember, but definitely don't go 110.

What about 110 duke pros ? That’s what i can get new for like $290 atm

Duke Pro isn’t a binding. I think you mean Jester Pro, which is 99% too much binding for you. Jester Pro is an 18 DIN binder and I bet you don’t ride higher than a 10 which means it’s totally unnecessary. That, and $290 for a binding that’s overkill is stupid when you could get an Attack 13 for like $170

why is this terrible, website says not more than 15mm bigger than you skis this is only 7

If you actually measure the 110mm brakes with a tape they're like 120mm wide. The 95mm fits perfectly I test fitted a couple weeks ago and have that combo, recliner 102 and attack 95mm, sitting in my "shop" waiting to get mounted.

I bough 106 Vishnu wides.

I also ordered tryrolia attacks with 110 brakes for them off evo.

should I return and get the 95 brakes or will the 110s be fine on a 106 ski?

That website if full of shit, that would drag like crazy, they would absolutely suck.

Too wide of a brake will drag when you carve, I’m putting 95 attaks on a 104 deathwish, my 105 skis have 100mm brakes, 95s on my 98s and so forth, for me, I don’t like anything more than a few mm wider than my ski.

Jesters seem to run closer than other bindings, attaaks seem a lil wider IMO, pivots seem close to advertised, I’ve never measured but I just now looked at some of my sticks. Duke touring bindings run the marker royal brake like jester, and seem to be a touch narrow.

As a rule of thumb you want your binding between -8 and +3, better to bend out than in, most can be bent out about 8mm. If you bend pivots and eat shit switch they’re guaranteed to snap.

There is a Duke Pro. It's a frame touring binding.

they say that cuz they don’t produce stock bindings in 5mm increments, they are usually in 15mm increments.

you have loads of people on here that have tried it in the past and are saying it doesn’t work, listen to the advice lol. saving $50 not a big deal

Absolutely, their deal and currency difference are just killer, I got my pivot 15s and jester 18 for about $400

my m pros we’re like 425

gotta look around there for a beacon I need 1

Corbetts is the pivot plug.

OP, don’t get 110 they will drag

Hell yeah, I got gold 15’s for 230 shipped at the beginning of summer and last year got some pivot 12’s for like 135 shipped.

OP, I have reckoner 102’s with 95 brakes. They didn’t need bending at all. Going with a 110 will have brakes catching the snow if you carve too hard. Plus, if you ever plan on going in the park they will just get in your way.

word... just ordered the pivots. Hopefully my local ski shop isnt shemmy about putting them on

It’s not illegal to choose your brake size so if they give you a hard time tell them to fuck off. Now if you went in with a pair of bindings that was 30 years old and they refused, that would be a different story.

They may joke with you about it being too big but I don’t see why they won’t mount them. It’s not like they are too small which would require bending and possibly breaking which is a liability.

I think that post was in regards to mounting 95mm pivots on Reckoner 102s?

Oh I totally misread that. And yeah you’ll be fine I rock 95 brakes on my reckoners and they didn’t even take bending
