Yea, so our resort just got hammered this last week especially today. We had continuous snow goin for like the last week, but today it got hammered. Just so you guys know, Chair 6 and the Tram both go to the top of our mountain, and the rest run below to midway. So they shut down from top to midway. but this shit is fuckin unreal. 11 feet in 7 days..... The town at the base basically closed down for a couple days. no power for some of it. the highway leading there plagued by avalanches. this is sick.

---heres the quote from the email i got today.

"Chair 6 and the Tram are both starting out closed and both should open up later

this afternoon. We will start out with Chairs 3, 4, 7 and the ponies open at

10:30am.

In the last 24 hours we have received no new snow at the base, no new snow at

midway and 20" at the top. In the last 7 days we received 28" at the base, 98"

at midway and 130" at the top."
 
the place will be completley different now...but lolos(50 foot cliff) and jake/sean/shauns setup(80100 feet, natrual in bounds and legal) would be super sick with 11 feet
 
yeah man thats awesome. Are most of the small cliffs gone? With the extra snow we've gotten in Vail this year so many cliffs just aren't there anymore. The signs are still there but when you get to the drops its just snow that has drifted up. Not a bad trade off for all the extra snow at all. Now the bigger cliffs aren't as intimidating.
 
the small cliffs kinda get covered up after a dump, but we still got our big drops. lolos is a good 40 if you huck it good, gunmount is a nice 20, you can find em anywhere here. it should be sick, im snaking a cabin night off my friend so ill get two days of insaneness. everyone go to our resort website you can see the pics.

i bet the park is sooo lame, u prob cant even get spead for the jumps and the rails are prob buried. thast sooo gay it must suck to live in alaska
 
that was probly the most stupid thing u couldve said...EVER...we get 11 feet of snow and ur saying the park must suck and how u would hate to live in alaska....u r a dumbfuck, u would get owned up here bitch
 
u are the idiot for not senseing my sarcasm, and not that it matters my uncle lives in ak, sitka to be exact and is a salmon fisherman. One of his old freinds opeaned up a little known heli skiing operation in a place called haines. the place were jp auclair and seth mosison filmed there parts in war. in 7th grade i was treated to skiing in alaska there and i got my skis signed by seth morison and jt holmes
 
drop enormous cliffs without feeling much. eh, whatever, itll be nice. ill find somethin to do. i mean...its pow. 11 feet of it. basically it lowers your pain when you fall. whether its chinease downhill, cliffs, jumps whatever. you get cush.
