We should be making a stronger push to wean off of fossil fuels entirely. Incrementally cut subsidies into oil companies, but subsidize renewables heavily. We should be manufacturing solar panels domestically rather than relying on cheap Chinese panels and pushing for all new houses to have wind generators built on. I'm even for the idea of including an increase in Nuclear capacity, as we already have all of the infra in place for it.

--

The phase 4 Keystone XL Pipeline would be entirely for export oil. That's literally what the XL stands for - eXport Limited. Explain how the fuck would that help domestic supply?

There are already multiple pipelines in place as it is for domestic supplies... including the rest of the Keystone system. the XL is unnecessary as hell. It was lobbied for hard by the Koch's and other oilbarons just because they have a huge stake in refining within that region and it would have massively increased their profits.

Dude. I didn't say anything about the pipeline helping domestic supply. I was implying that Biden cancelling it was a bad idea, that was a big project that would have provided a lot of AMERICAN JOBS.

& good luck trying to wean off of fossil fuels. roll coal baby

Who cares about jobs anymore dude? It's not 2011. The Unemployment rate is under 4% and every employer seems to be having a hard time hiring/recruiting. The last thing people want to do right now is to move to frozen ass North Dakota to work a temporary job for a few months when everyone else is hiring full-time positions.

Fossil fuels are so 20th century. All indications point to renewables as the future - the fossil fuel tycoons are just trying to squeeze whatever they can out of what remains.

LOL why are Republican's so obsessed with a stupid pipeline they know absolutely nothing about?

Yeah man! Cancelling a pipeline that was bringing Canadian oil to be exported to China which would have produced under 10 permanent jobs was SUCH a loss! LOL yall licking corporate boots and don't even realize it.

Solar or wind reliance is impossible right now without fossil fuel subsidization.

In a matter of months, they'll be back to working construction back home anyway... Often these projects don't end up hiring as many people as they claim they will. if the upper limit is 10000, expect half that at best. Not to mention, they'll end up spending a lot of it on price-gauged dodgy living situations during those months like what often happens with folks working the Bakken or up in Ft. Mac in Canada.

There are a lot better development and infra projects coming up all over the country anyhow... XL pipeline is a massive waste of production. Those blue-collar construction guys will have plenty of opportunities that will better serve the country elsewhere.

The majority of the money for those 10000 workers ends up going to the white-collar people, they end up hiring 800 people and saying no one wants to work real jobs anymore.

It's a lot less socially conservative than you think - and is a FAR different way than you often see in the USA. They don't have cable news telling them what to be afraid of here - instead, they tune in every night to drag queen 'Matsuko Deluxe' on NHK and then they lambast the shit out of anyone who hates on him in the media or otherwise. He's like a national hero lol.

Diversity is low, sure - but that doesn't inherently mean a place is going to disregard new stuff.

Sure, but that just means we must incrementally shift things. Right now we are barely doing anything.

Who selects EO of US inc. the people, the electoral college or congress? If the people chose a banana, the electoral college would throw it out and if not, congress would simply vote nay and a new election would occur. You don't have as much power over who is elected federally, and that was designed so a Hitler or Stalin couldn't be voted in.

The goal wasn’t to leave a back door open to abuse the indirect democracy for partisan gains because you’re mad your guy didn’t win so you’re just going to pretend like he did and tell him to show up instead on Inauguration Day.

It’s honestly like really hard to tell if people actually believe the BS or if they just enjoy saying it because of the way libs react.

There's no indirect democracy in the US, let alone direct democracy. US was and is chartered as a republic (legally termed: charter corporation). It was chartered by Association LLC a long time ago and continues to be a voluntary social engineering corporation for mostly big business, which the EO controls, today being Biden, 2016 because Trump, etc.

I honestly don't care about who becomes the EO because most of the owners have a very high chance of being psychopaths. As long as the EO cares about American interests, before Israeli/foreign interests, whatever.

There might have been some problems this past election for the EO but it was also the only time the media actually showed the real process, where the EO is actually selected by the electoral college corp. and if not, congress LLC ges the deciding vote.

The problem is, constitutionally, the elections have been illegitimate for 150 years due to the fact that private for-profit corporations (DNC and RNC) select candidates, which is unconstitutional, not that any of them actually care about that "damn piece of paper" — Bush

"Trumpism is Americanism." —VTshredder69

I'm an American and Trump appoints a majority Zionist admin for a foreign state of inbred bankers' colony knowm as the counterfeit state of Israel. Zionism is against the constitution and anyone who votes for a Zionist, whether Trump or Biden, is committing treason under the title of nobility clause in the constitution. Solution, expel all Zionists from holding public office. Americanism fixed.

No more balkanization wars for Israel stealing Americans' entitlements.

Maybe we shouldn't have been putting a tong of people in prison for that or longer for drug possession then? I mean considering all the things people have gone to prison for. Storming the capitol building def seems like a decent one regardless of how you feel about the guy.

Our prison industry is pretty beat. Weird that this guy is suddenly the person that you think maybe shouldn't be in prison for as long as he was sentenced.

I actually agree with the counterpoint you’re making and maintain the views I indicated. This isn’t contradictory. It isn’t beneficial to society to lock people up for bags of weed, nor is it beneficial to make boogeymen or examples out of people like this guy, not that he can’t face reasonable accountability.

Again, it is unconstitutional for private for-profit corporation political parties who unconstitutionally appoint fake electors nobody voted for. Of course, SCOTUS has no jurisdiction over the statutory rules of the GOP or DNC, which tends to go over most peoples' heads.

So political parities are in actuality for-profit corporations (you don't have to believe me but I've read the books/charter documents and history they stopped teaching around 1915. A resolve would be to have these "parties" pay a heavy fee for their "privilege" to use local government employees and facilities for their personal profit/private gain, such as what the "governor" of Texas does—grifting on taxpayers, enriching himself to multi-millionaire status, as the parasite he is.

The electoral college reps for each section of the country ACTUALLY decide the EO of US inc., not us.

So the real history is that the United States LLC (Republic=charter corp) is a quasi public private for-profit corporation started by The Association Inc (October 20th, 1774) and Crown Corp (Terra Regis Co. and South Seas Inc./Mass. Bay Corp.) London Colonisation Co., Virginia Company. and East India Corp. Read document Chisholm vs. Georgia 1793 and Treaty of Paris 1783.

U.S. Inc's constitution is for internal company policy which makes it self-funding with a sub-franchise treasury... very interesting because we are supposedly broke using the for-profit private Fed Reserve corp.

1031977.jpeg

1031978.jpeg

So in the bookland of US Inc. they have to pretend like they are broke and can't pay for anything, when, indeed, they were chartered as a self-funding quasi public-private corporation. Why? Because if you started demanding the same handouts as Raytheon, Walmart or DARPA/Lockheed who kickback to congressman grifters, who would fight the company colony wars?

State, city and county corporations are all private for-profit revenue generators in probate districts... our forefathers cared not to let this happen 150 years ago but now nobody cares. It's much better to believe the myth that Democrat or Republican means "party," not private for-profit corporations, right?
