this is just a reminder to take a two minute's silence today at 11, which was the end of the first world war, 1918.

In Flander's Field

by John McCrae

In Flanders fields the poppies blow

Between the crosses, row on row,

That mark our place; and in the sky

The larks, still bravely singing, fly

Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the dead. Short days ago

We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,

Loved, and were loved, and now we lie

In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:

To you from failing hands we throw

The torch; be yours to hold it high.

If ye break faith with us who die

We shall not sleep, though poppies grow

In Flanders fields.

respect.

I had a great grandpa who was a Brigadier General for the air force ww II; Turner Ashby Sims Jr.

recipient of Distinguished Service Medal, American Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal

I also want to thank any of you NS's serving, or preparing to serve.

let us not forget about the brave young Canadian's fighting in the middle east. It takes an unspeakable amount of courage to willfully sacrifice your own safety and fight for your countries ideology.

we salute you. Being 19 I can't imagine being put in the same situation that our veterans have. We shall never forget your sacrifices for our freedom
