11-16mm, 8mm

what do u guys think i should buy . i'm pretty much all around video/photographer and i can't decide between 11-§6 (tokina) and 8mm (samyang) if i buy 8mm i probably have money to buy 35mm 1.8 also but if i decide 1116 all of my money goes to it. sooo... leave a comment thank you !

The 8mm is really, really wide with no zoom. I've never used it for video, only photos.

The 11-16 is probably going to work a lot better. It's a much more versatile lens than the 8mm. The 11-16 is also faster, which will be nicer for photos if you need it. I have the 8mm and it's not sharp at f/3.5.

I have both, both are great lenses for different uses, we need more info to help you. What is your shooting style? What lenses do you have now, etc.

go for 11-16, best uwa lens for aps-c sensor (if you own one), perfect for video and photo. really sharp and its 2.8 which shoud give you some good lighting.
