I heard that it was a battle with upper management just to get this little set up. Squaw and a lot of other mountains these days are just not seeing the revenue that a decent terrain park would make. Could be lack of snow too though

everyone in tahoe is dealing with the same snow conditions..it all comes down to commitment to want to build a park.

This is the truth. With all the big rumors I thought Squaw was going to start out with a bang. I work at Heavenly and we opened up with only two trails. One was a full length park. Most mountains would not sacrifice the snow it took to do this. If we didn't have that park they probly could have opened up 2 other trails and a whole other lift.

Such shitty conditons. I guess that park is going to stay up all year... There is no snow here at all- I bet the park will be sick in spring when we have a bunch of snow

But who the fuck comes to Squaw to ski park?!?!?
