Does anyone remember back in the day when 1080's used to be the shit? I was just thinking about that... I think its so sick that 1260's, 1440's and doubles are all pretty much commonplace these days.

Its the slopestyle finals for the X Games back in 2005. God, skiing has progressed SO much in just the past 5 years. Where do you think we'll be in another 5?

my friend still rides some 1080's with like 3 holes to the core and literally no edges in places. haha

Haha, I was talking about the spin not the skis, but its cool. Everything people are doing these days just blows my mind, I only just got into skiing park like two years ago and I feel like I'm so fucking behind where everyone else is these days. Gotta just keep workin at it I guess-- I'm not gonna complain though cause I love seeing whats happening and how everyone's shit just gets more and more technical. I just hope I can up my game too.
 
haha i know what your saying. but its not just harlaut doin dubs. everyones doing dubs and people like andreas doin every dub both ways. shits so sick.
 
Tanner Halls run was sick, Charles should have got 2nd. 450 diaster to 270 out would still be good in today x games
 
wow.. I could have won xgames back in 05. Haha its funny looking back, and realizing how exponential action sports can be progression wise.

Still think Jon Olsson should have won the gold and not got third. He didn't revert once, demonstrated both directions and tail pressed on the boxes (right 2 and he's a left spinner). Also Charles Gagnier does a 3 in his run and I'm sorry but doing a 3 in an xgames run should automatically make you not medal.
 
That course was actually really sick. All those runs were super stylie too and charles one foot grind caused quite the ruckus.

Anyways, I'll never forget the controversy over that whole thing. I was always on tanners side. Not gonna like now I'm kinda thinking Jon probably should have won that hahaha
