do you guys think the new 1080s would be a good choice for new skis?

YYYYYYYYYUP. Great skis. There a selected few people on this forum that will disagree. Don't listen to them...they are just people that have had bad experiences with the ski and had some bad luck. They rip, and there are more people that will agree with that rather than people that think they suck.

Very nice all-mountain twin. A little overpriced IMHO, but I certainly wouldn't recommend against them for any reason.

yeh i have the 181 1080s, buying the bigger ski is better, i love them so much, a great all around ski, they rule, i know somebody that is selling some 171 1080s for around 400-450 so if anybody wants them...
