i want to know your opinion on which ski u think is better 1080s or twelve sixtys

I personally like the 1260s a little more. I have skied and owned both.

i have last year's 1080s amd i am wholly satisfied, but i spend half of my time in the park and the other half somewhere else. If youre only a park skier, go with the 1260s

If you saw two guys named Hambone and Flippy, which one would you think liked dolphins the most? I'd say Flippy, wouldn't you? You'd be wrong, though. It's Hambone.
 
dont say the 1260 is for park only, becasue i have skied em on everything, they work fine for almost everything cept ice (but i did a lot of rails so my edges werent overly sharp)

I'd go for the 1080 pesonally, but if I were you I'd demo both and see which I liked better.

Oh, and this should probably be in ski equipment.

1260's. They have a better warranty, flex pattern, wood core, etc.

1260s this year are sick, they're a LOT snappier than the older models because of the carbon bands in it. If I can I want to demo a pair of them this year because they look awesome.

i personally hate line and think they are very unreliable and have never had problems from salomon, so 1080

1080s are wonderful skis with a good background. back when newschooling first started 1260s were the joke of the industry cause they were crappily made and ugly and short. No offense to Line, i like the Pollards, the old Darksides, and the Skogens. But 1260s vs. 1080s? What? get the 1080s, you will be able to do more with them and they are just a better made ski

 
The 1260s this year are sick, super light, true twin tip, super snappy with the Carbon Band. The only thing that the 1080s have going for it is the width out of the park. But over all as a park ski, the 1260s.

1080, a solid all around ski.

a conversation between two skiers:

skier 1 ' have you seen those new skis with the tips in the front and back yet'

skier 2 'no but I heard about those things'

Skier 1 ' yeah I don't see why they would want tips in the back...maybe they are try'n to copy those stupid snowboarders or something like that'

skier 2 'Yeah seems like kind of a stupid idea.'

im not a fan of the 1080, i owned the old ones which were'nt bad, but i think the new ones are horrible, the foam core sux, and the warranty is horrible, i like lines skis but not really the twelve sixty (probably cause i demoed the 164s which felt to short), however if u like it get it just dont get the 1080
