1080's or Chronics

This will be my second year skiing,last year i had mad trix and hated them because they were so stiff amd heavy. I am 5'6 130lbs. Help me choose between 1080's and chronics

 
Your're gonna be a poser if you take the Chronics since it is your 2nd year of skiing, since you suck I would suggest some Salomon 720's. hahah

i'd get the tens. i had them for starting off in the park and they were sick. alot of people say they suck, but that is opposite from the truth. those skis kick ass! they are probably flexier then the chronics and cheaper too. nothing agaist the chronics which are probably nicer and more expenisve. the thing thats good about the tens is that they ski all mountain really well, not just park. if i were you i'd just try to demo as many skis as possible. dont limit yourself to just the tens or the chronics. look around, you might end up with something you'd never think you'd end up with in a million years.

 
the only thing i don't like about the 1080's is that a lot of people have them, especially at my home mtn.

cronics, 1080 are eveywhere and dont lissen to him about for skiing only 2 years, i have only been skiing for a year and a half.

If you do not like stiff skis, then do not get the chronics, they are lines stiffer model for next year. 1080 is not a bad ski so i'd get that, 171 or 181, whatever size is your preference.

 
I'd say chronics are a much better ski but like you said you are looking for a softer ski that is lighter which leans more towards the 1080...if i was you i would go witht he fujative or 1260 though

 
What are you looking at skiing most?

If you are growing fast/skiing everywhere: On sale Salomon 1080's.. if you ski mostly park and want a ski for atleast 2 seasons Chronics.

However.. I def wouldnt limit your choices lots of skis out there.

1260 if you're going to choose between chronic and 1080s. Actually, just go chronics, but it depends what you're looking for.

how could he possible be a poser because he would ride chronics in his 2nd year of freestyle...my first year i rode the original BLACK ostness dragons in a 193, and i didnt feel like i was a poser...get the chronics, their sick, love how they ride switch, just all around great
