1080 - why not fully twinned?

I know the tail is perfect for all around riding, it's high enough for switch takeoffs. But why didn't they just add the last 2. something centimeters and make it full?

couse it's less materials and therefore it cost the consumer lesser. if you don't need it, don't make it, like a solar power flashlight. i don't know what i am talking about.

why does it matter.... do you need a bigger twin... its not that big of issue.

my brother was doing 1's and 5's in the backcountry this year and was sticking them in 2 feet of powder and he rides new 1080's

 
i'm just saying, why is it close to a full but not a full....is it a prcing game? saying Full-twin makes the price go up?

the twin is high enough, what difference is the higher tial gonna have on your switch riding? probably none cause they're still both upturned, it just means ones higher

yeah there was a big thing about lin patenting there tiwn tip awhile ago i think line is dumb for that

^^ ? No they don't fool. They look just like any ski except with a slightly higher tail. Public Enemy's tails are higher than LINEs, and so are their tips, they don't look gay.

Followed a Line skier, and almost suffocated on his chaff. It wasn't even a powder day!

smaller tail hieghts also spit up less snow and provide a longer edge surface.

low tails blow ass, i had the enemies then i got the skogens, big difference in my switch riding, impoved so much

you can get into shit with them, like those lines that the tails kept snapping in sticky snow. you've seen my head air's, right jordan? we'll that's all i need and i ski switch most of the time at martock on the hill and everywhere in the park and pipe.

yea i know, i said the tail is fine, i can more than live with the tail.....hell i would've lived with the 2003 line darksides..just wondering why they're short that 2cm or so..oh well, maybe it is to make a stronger tail

I got the spaceframe 1080's it doesnt seem like the tip or the tail is very high but I dont really care I learned 180's on a race ski with no tail

tail dont mean much. K2 had a bumps ski come out like 3 or 4 years ago. blue white and red. a guy I knew could throw 5s and swtich 5s no problem.
