so uh need new boots and i imagine the spk boots for next year are prolly going to be pretty expensive, so uh take some 1080 foil boots this year for a good deal or hold out for the spk and spend hella cash...which id ont have.

Id imagine the 1080 fiol boots are sick enough for pure park skiing>?

I too was looking at the spks but would they be complete shit for anything outside of the park? I would imagine so but just wondering...

i sure as hell hope these babies will feel right. i get the worst shin bang and have a tough time flexing boots since i'm pretty thin n shit. i think salomon's on to something though

bumping for more info since i may order the this years foil boots tonight, so a few questions, how doy you like your 06 foil boots for park?? and a 8.5 size off of getboards really means what size?

how can you pre-order a boot you have never tried on? Not to be mean, but I almost hope they don't fit you just because you are purchasing them based on hype.

On my good side, I hope they are a great boot for you. However, PLEASE stop basing things on looks and hype and get fitted by a professional. I rode a pair of 1080 boots I thought fit okay but had terrible heel cup fit. I figured it was no big deal until I tore the interior and exterior ligaments in my right ankle. That was December 31st. I still can't even jog.

Get the right boot, bro.

ummm...no - like triplstrum said, well not really, but you should go to a bootfitter. you cant know if its gonna fit perfect/good/horrible by seeing what other people say and buying them online.

my foil boots are good but i'd wait until next year to try both of them on and see which you like more

I agree with you... you should try both of them before making your choice... if you are not confortable you are not going to ski normaly..
