1080 FOIL recommended mounting line

Can anyone identify for me which line is the recommended mounting line on the 1080 Foil? Is it the thin line just infront of the graphics in the center of the ski that identify the sidecut of the ski? Is the the difference between the freestyle position and the standard mounting position, 20mm in front of this line?

Nah, cos my bro asked for the recommended position by salomon and it looks like his foils haven't been mounted anywhere near any line on the ski. At the same time this store fucked up the true center mounting on my ar5s and my sis' arw's that were meant to be 2cm behind center.

sounds like you have to go to a new store to get your shit mounted.

secondly i have never looked at a pair closely, but the best thing you can do is pull out a tape measure measure the enitre length of the ski, find exact center. From there then measure back to those lines on the ski.

See how far back they are from center.

Generally anything 0cm to 5cm back from center could be considered a "forward from traditional mounting point" and anything farther back then that is usually a traditional mounting point.

If you plan on using the skis in the park, mount on the line that is as close to center as marked.

If you don't really ski park that much, and this is your freeride, i ski forward 98% of the time mount on the line farther back.

And hopefully someone that actually owns a pair will tell you exactly wehat they did and how they like it.

mount them on the line that is the furthest up the ski. i have foils and that's where i mounted them. they ski wonderfully in the park, and they still ski wonderfully everywhere else.
