Im looking for an all round ski that can do pretty much everything. Ive herd that the line cronic wide is a really versatile ski and i have also herd this about the 1080 foil. Im 5'11 and 135-140 pounds, not exactly a bulky guy... so i like the idea of having a ski a bit on the lighter side. the sizes i am considering are for the crhonic 177 and for the foil 182. i am planning to get into the park but have pretty much no experiance in it. but i will ski a lot of allmountain and a bit on the groomers.. What do you guys think?

I love Lines but I have to say at your weight the Foils would be a better ski. Besides the chronic wide is just the old skogan which was a 2x4 disguised as a park ski. The Salomon is lighter softer and has more sidecut so it will spin turn and butter better.

i have mike nicks which are basically the same as chronic wides. they are heavy! and stiff. but they are basically impervious to damage

get the 2007 foil, graphics are sick. i still havent decided what im getting for next years skis. but u might wana do wat i did. if u wana learn park, dedicate some days to just park, ull get it down. and if u have the money this is wat i did.. bought 2006 fujatives for the park, they were only a little less than 200 bucks. its really worth it if u wana get a park specific ski and then u can get a twin that is burly and rides everywhere. but if ur looking for a ski that can rip both i think the chron is prolly the best idea cuz the stiff flex helps around the mtn.

my dad got the foils and he loves them. hes about your height but a bit heavier. he likes an all-around ski. he hasn't taken them in the park but i think they'd be pretty good. he got a 160 which i think is too short. i dont know much about the line's but i'd say that the foils would be better on groomers and park.
